Abstract
In the article there are grounded content and functional principles of professional training of future teachers in social and pedagogical activity, in particular there is represented the totality of methodological principles, determined the areas and approximate content of this activity, methods and forms of organization of social and pedagogical process in an elementary school. It is given the author’s understanding of theoretical-and-cognitive and applied functions of social and pedagogical activity of a teacher.
