Abstract

Value-semantic universe (VSU) of pedagogy as a science and art is thematized and adequately conceptualized in the system of fundamental pedagogical theories (FPT), such as pedagogical anthropology, pedagogical psychology, pedagogical ethics, pedagogical aesthetics, pedagogical axiology and others, problematics of noological categorical and structural synthesis of which is being developed by the author. Concepts of educational ideal, the formation of moral and spiritual values of pupils are considered to be genuine piece of such modern FPT as apedagogical axiology, in the context of which it becomes possible to solve the problems of the educational ideal in particular, the Ukrainian national educational ideal, whose basic principles Hrygoriy Vashenko (1878-1976), an outstanding scholar and teacher formulated in the first half of twentieth century. According to H. Vashenko, following Ukrainian tradition in spiritual and moral sphere, one is supposed to pay great attention to the traits (of Ukrainian mentality) that form the basis of a healthy family life; moral purity, consciousness and youthful honor and others must be instilled in youth. Noological fundamental concepts and principles of pedagogical axiology form one of the methodological foundations of modern pedagogy, allowing to consider upbringing-education-learning as a social-value semantic phenomenon that is reflected in the basic ideas of VSU pedagogy as a science and art. In this case we deal with universal humanistic values and noological priorities of freedom and independence of each person.
