Abstract

In article the changes in the maintenance of curricula and elementary school’s programs in 40–80th years ХХ century which demanded subject transformation of the maintenance of training and creation of new textbooks are analysed; questions of perfection of the textbook are opened out. Development of the theory of textbooks’ creation in the sphere of elementary education is reflected; the role of the educational book in mastering the pupils’ knowledge is lighted out.
