Abstract

Based on the study of archival documents the article elucidates the organization of Russian schools for children in Ukraine in the late 30s and 40s of the 20th century. It has been found that the beginning of the 30s was characterized by such phenomenon in the development and functioning of schools of national minorities as forced russification. The study shows that the content of educational programs and curricula in Russian schools complied fully with the implemented educational changes during the stated period.
