Abstract

The problems of t he essence and the content of t he professional mastery of a future teacher in the views of t h e representatives of West European pedagogical thought of t he 1 7 - 1 8 centuries are regarded in the article. On the basis of retrospective analysis of scientific pedagogical and historical literature are determined t h e progressive approaches and t h e main requirements to formation of an educator in t h e process of pedagogic interaction w i t h pupils. The impact of humanistic and retormational ideas on preparing national educational personnel is analysed.
