Abstract
In the article is exposed the problem of training language teacher to work with children with impaired speech development. Highlights the role of foreign language in the life of modern educated person, some aspects of language learning in pre-school, the difficulties of mastering a foreign language children with speech disabilities, discloses professional and personal qualities which should have language teacher who works with children with speech disabilities.
