Abstract

The content and structure of professional skills are theoretically grounded, the psychological and pedagogical peculiarities, organizational and pedagogical conditions of developnment of the graphic design teachers’ professional skills in the art profile higher educational establishments are defined, the history of teachers-designers training as well as a contemporary state of their professional skills development are analysed. The main components of the professional skills are defined: pedagogical skills. There is developed the professiograme and the model of development of the graphic design teachers’ professional skills.
