Abstract

The problem of seeking perspective technologies of forming foreign languages competence is especially important nowadays. The article examines the ways and effectiveness of using Ukrainian variant of the European Language Portfolio as one of the main instruments of introducing the competence approach into the studying pupils at elder (profile) schools and as the integral component of educative and methodical complex on foreign languages.
