Abstract
Conceptual approaches to early psychological and educational support for children with visual impairments are explained in the article. The concept of «early support (intervention is expanded)», the present state of its legal, social, psychological and pedagogical support are analyzed, the principles, main and specific tasks of early psycho-pedagogical support of the children with visual impairments, its directions, steps, ways and requirements for its realization are pointed out. The peculiarities of psycho-physical development of children with hard visual impairments from early age and the ways of practical realization of early support, particularly emotional communication, physical development, sensory-perceptual development in the process of familiarization with the environment are consiedered in details.
