Abstract
This article provides a brief analysis of the causes and specificity of abnormalities in social development and behavior of аdolescents as a social and educational problem. Urgent is the theoretical position that any development in social pedagogy is composed of two trends: social and personal (social pedagogy of personality and social abnormalities in the formation of a personality (L. V. Mardahayev). The features of social identity formation in adolescence (12-17/18 City) under negative social circumstances determine educational and social abnormalities. The deviations in the behavior of adolescence are a teenage alcoholism, drug addiction, prostitution, homelessness, vagrancy, delinquency. Psychological readiness for drug use is observed when the major needs of teens are not met: the need for a positive assessment of significant adults, the need for self-esteem, the need for communication, etc. For normal social development in adolescence, it is important to create the conditions for the possibility of establishing himself in the socially relevant activities, to meet the needs of creative fulfillment. Such conditions are created through attracting teenagers to classes in groups, clubs, and provision of a favorable atmosphere in the family, where the teenagers feel the importance of their role in solving common problems.
