Abstract
The paper describes the main points of dsfferentiation of teaching andlearning by school textbooks in the 20-30-years of the twentieth century. The main changes in the development of textbooks are reflected due to the change of educational paradigm in the Soviet school. The features and areas of differentiation characterized particularly by age and social characteristics of students.
