The problem of corruption acts a barrier to economic development of the Ukrainian state and political instability factor of the Ukrainian society. So, it's the relevance of elective courses students "My civic consciousness . Preventing corruption " due to the fact that. In the situation of deepening social, political and economic crisis , corruption becomes a threat to the national security of Ukraine, affects the efficiency of public administration, the functioning of public authorities and local governments, undermining the foundations of the established order, protection of rights and freedoms. These phenomena and processes of concern to society and citizens in Ukraine .
