Abstract
According to the data of systematic international researches, in particular the Organization of economic collaboration and development, in the program for international student assessment PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment); International association in learning achievements assessment and monitoring research of "Investigation of quality of the text reading and understanding" PIRLS (Progress in International Reading Literacy Study) to the list of countries - the leaders of school education, in which special attention is paid to the teachers selection and preparation, Canada, group of countries of South-east Asia and the Pacific region (Singapore, Republic Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan), Finland and Belgium from. Europe are included. To the countries with permanent stability and historical achievements of pedagogical science in the branch of teachers preparation the USA, Great Britain, France and Federal Republic of Germany. On a background these countries we will make an attempt to compare teachers preparation in Ukraine and through it to find out trends and to outline the situational problems of Ukrainian pedagogical education and to offer recommendations concerning their decision.
