Abstract
The article emphasizes the problem of prevention, which UNESCO considers a priority in the world of science. The relevance of forming preventive educational environment at the educational institution is substantiated due to several reasons:social, educational, economic, psychological, pedagogical, medical and biological. Creating a preventive environment in educational institutions is considered by the author as an imperative that meets the challenges of time and is a practical implementation of the laws and regulations in the field of education. On the basis of methodological analysis of the concept «educational environment», the term «preventive educational environment of educational institution» is defined as a set of organizational and pedagogical conditions, interaction and integration that provides social and legal support for the disclosure of internal capacity, spiritual development and self-identity, promotes development of value attitude toward nature and society, eliminates the negative impacts of society on the child. Modeling as a method to update the educational policy of the institution is considered in the context of the problems and prospects of rural schools. The author introduces the different models: Schools of Health, Labor Schools, Schools of Active Community, etc. and discusses factors and conditions that contribute to the formation of a preventive educational environment of rural schools. The article analyzes the results of an experimental study on the topic.
