Abstract
Through philosophical analysis of the category of freedom, philosophers from different times and eras have drawn attention to the fact that in the history of philosophical thought problem of individual freedom . Given the importance of the rational-emotional-sensual-volitional component of freedom, it is important to pay attention to scientific research on the mechanisms of volitional regulation of human behavior and their role in the formation of personal freedom.
