Abstract
Ukrainian school and family lack a weighed general view of professional self-determination of young people, the development of a career-guidance paradigm,vocational guidance ideology and the effective approaches, forms, and methods of young generation’s preparation for a value and personal rational choice of future work activity. Presently, the tendencies of modern consideration of pupils’ socially-professional self-determination are exposed in the system of school-family vocational guidance activity. In the article the ponderability of the family is revealed as a self-developing system with considerable powers in relation to its participating in socially-professional self-determination of senior pupils. The necessity of development of the system of school-family vocational guidance activity on the principles of partnership of teachers and parents is substantiated. The influence of school and family mutual effort on the senior pupils’ preparation to the choice of their future profession is presented. Vocational guidance methods for teachers and parents are suggested. It is supposed that the development of the system of school-family vocational guidance activity could be effective due to the co-ordination measures of school and family, introduc- tion of the concerted socially-pedagogical approaches, creation of the school-family ideology of career-guidance.
