Abstract

This article analyzes the major trends in the study of folklore Ukrainian academic and university centers. We investigate the most significant achievements of Ukrainian scholars and practitioners on the need for the use of methodological approaches to the analysis of folklore texts influence of folk traditions on the development of national culture under global and European transformation processes . Outlines the innovative trends in the study of folklore in the context of functional, communicative approach, grounded Ukrainian folklorists , teachers , representatives of Ukrainian folkloristic cells.
