Abstract

The article of L. M. Kalinina “The State and Civil Education Government in the Context of the Formation of the Democratic Society in Ukraine” covers the phenomenon of the state and civil management in education through the demonstration of the subjectivity and the balance of the civil and state relationships in the education sphere, the equation of the influence of the state and the civil factors which will promote the management clarity, the autonomy of the institutions activity, the guarantee of the active civil positions of the subjects, the further development of democracy and civil society in Ukraine. The hot-burning issues and their reasons were provided; it was proved that the successful solution of the problems of the state and civil education management is predetermined by the present needs of the participants of the education process and the interests of the socially active community; also, it is possible under the conditions of the free democratic system where the following idea is the principal one: “a free person – a developed civil society – a strong state”. In this case, the native people find democracy not only as the enunciation even of the progressive ideas of the freedom of choice, peace, social equality for the purpose of making the fateful decisions on behalf of the native people but also as its power.
