Abstract
The article is dedicated to the history of creation, functioning peculiarities and circumstances of liquidation of one best in world pedagogical practice educational establishments for the deaf-mutes - Oleksandrivskschool-khutir (1903-1911). A special attention is dedicated to the prehistory of this educational establishment origin. Methods and means of intercourse and studies of teachers with the pupils of this school are characterized. Advanced experience of deaf-mute children teaching perspectives and its introduction in similar establishments in our time are pointed out.
