Abstract
In the article highlights the problem of formation of sources of physics teaching methods history. The scientific approaches to classification of the sources and use of historiographical method of research on the history of physics didactics in Ukraine are analyzed. Attention is focused on such features of modern scientific source as representative variation approaches; the choice is determined by the concept, purpose and objectives of a particular investigation. Source features are grounded methodology in accordance with the objectives and main tasks of historical and pedagogical research. It is proved that a systematic approach to building a domestic source base history didactics of physics makes it possible to consider it as an integral socio-cultural and pedagogical phenomenon. Systemically factor in this act not only specific features and, above all, cultural content source that if the use of hermeneutic tool provides the possibility of knowing a wide range of relationships beyond the outlines set out the facts. Expediency systems research element of sources, in the light of their complex relationships of different species, different information and cultural significance of the historical stages in the development methodology of science were grounded. An author's classification of the sources elements of national history didactics of physics is proposed, defined feasibility supplement its traditional groups of material, written sources and a group of electronic educational resources.
