Abstract
The article focuses on the problem of informational and analytical support for the professional technical educational establishments (PTEEs) and its necessity in the informational society. It particularly focuses on the actors of the informational and analytical activity which can be divided into three groups according to the informational and analytical tasks they perform. The third group includes the technical workers (assistants). Therefore, informational and analytical competence development of the PTEEs pedagogical workers is the topical theoretical and practical problem. The necessity to observe requirements of the competence approach to its development is caused by such leading factors. The first factor is the globalization of all spheres of the personality, the second factor is the transfer of the leading countries to the informational society stage, the third factor is the necessity of the purposeful implementation of the professional pedagogical activity and informational and analytical function by the pedagogical workers, the fourth factor is the degree of intellectuality and complexity of the informational and analytical tasks in the PTEEs, performed by different authorities in the process of implementation of positional competencies.
