Abstract
The potential of use of the projective technique «psychological drawing» for research of features of civil (political) practices of youth is discussed. Advantages and limitations of application of projective techniques are identified. Essence of projection as a basic operating mechanism is discussed. Expedience of projective techniques application in research of slightly realizable aspects of political attitudes of youth (to power, to themselves, to other citizens) is substantiated. Efficiency and legitimacy of application of drawing as an instrument in research of political picture of the world of young people is proven. Projective drawing is considered as a method of explication of political picture of the world which provides information in form of graphic symbols. Criteria of evaluation of drawings which allow to select political practices of positioning of young people in the spheres of interaction «authorities and I», «others and I», «I am a subject of cooperation» are defined. The tendency of predominance of emotionally evaluative, irrational practices of evaluation of authorities is discovered. It is found out that in the political picture of the world of young people authoritarian (power «from above») and democratic (power «alongside») modes of interaction are practically equally presented with slight predominance of authoritarian. The types of political practices in the political picture of the world of students are defined based on the results of qualitative analysis of drawings. Attitude toward self as a subject of political interaction determines the level of activity – passivity of civil (political) practices of young people. It is found that for passive practices displacement of accent from self to the activities of authorities is typical. The author discovered the tendency of dominance of palette of protest practices, practices of withdrawal and emotionally negatively charged practices of self-attitude in youth’ discourse in the evidence of mostly absent positive methods of interaction with authorities.
