Abstract
The article deals with the paradigm principles of academic teaching staff traning in the context of modernization changes of higher education in Ukraine. The emphasis is on methodological and psycho-pedagogical training of academic teaching staff because educational elements of course contents are now implemented in another, different from the previous century scientific and educational space. It is emphasized that now, more than ever, universities in Ukraine need teachers of new generation with competitive skills level. It is defined that courses of psychological and pedagogical training of academic teaching staff are qualitatively different from traditional that is why they have to be designed on the basis of personal achievements and demands of academic teaching staff; the methodological foundations are essentially new scientific and educational factors formed in methodology research and experimental work in postneoclassical development conditions.
