Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of increasing the axiological potential of school textbooks of algebra and the beginnings of analysis in the conditions of the implementation of a competent approach to learning. The necessity of inclusion in the system of teaching mathematics methods promoting the formation of value orientations of senior pupils is revealed. Examples of problems aimed at the formation of universal values ​​are considered.
