Abstract

The article highlights the issue of launching an authority file of individual authors in the format of IDLIS/AUTHORITY for the electronic catalogue of V. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine. The author reveals the role of AF «IA» in the unification of bibliographic records, which, in turn, will help to avoid errors while creating the records.
