Abstract

The article deals with the results of the analysis of international and domestic experience in the use of network services, which provide information and analytical support to the scientific and educational research and independently evaluation of the quality of electronic publications and scientists’ publication activity. It can be achieved by the analysis of the values of scientometric indicators included in the bibliometric open electronic systems. The conditions for the inclusion of scientific publications in the search systems like Google Scholar are considered. It is concluded that the scientometric bases, which are today an international and widely used in practice, should be developed to provide a more adequate reflection of the character and level of scientists’ scientific activity, as well as their personal contribution to the development of certain areas of science.
