Abstract
In the dissertation the theoretical generalization and new practical solution of the problem of scientific research of the psychological conditions of formation of a junior schoolchild's social status are made, the materials of the theoretical analysis of various aspects of the study of social status are given, psychological model of formation of a junior schoolchild's social status are presented. Psychological conditions of development of a junior schoolchild’s social status have been identified, which are the maturity and congruence of the social identity and social position of a schoolchild. It is defined that second-graders generally have a discrepancy between a schoolchild’s social identity and social position, which is expressed in its inadequate understanding and acceptance; the social identity and social position of fourth-graders become consistent. It is confirmed that the contradictions in the system of social identity and social position complicate the process of formation of a junior schoolchild's social status on second year of studying and, on the contrary, contribute a junior schoolchild’s social status formation on the fourth year. The author's program based on positive psychotherapy by N.Peseschkian for improvement of the psychological conditions of formation of schoolchildren's social status is created and tested successfully. The program consists of two parts: improving external conditions of social status formation (preventive, educational, consultative and developing work with parents and teachers) and development of internal conditions (developing and correctional work with junior schoolchildren).
