Abstract

The article represents organization of the research on the development and approbation of social and psychological means of preventing and overcoming poverty as a lifestyle, which includes implementation of the preparatory, main and analytical stages of the research; the main point of each stage has been outlined. The necessity of using social and psychological means of overcoming poverty as a lifestyle in the context of the attitude to health has been justified, which includes the combined effect of the negative manifestations of cognitive, emotional and behavioral components of the attitude to health of representatives from the economically problematic environment towards the increase of their self-efficacy and responsibility in terms of health. The analysis of the results of studies that shows the possibility and prospects of overcoming poverty as a lifestyle by increasing self-efficacy and responsibility in relation to personality`s health has been given.
