Abstract

In the article, a problem of the correspondence of the personality of a modern pedagogue to the requirements of the educational system at the stage of its transmission to innovative development was observed; the main resource of it is the pedagogical staff that is able to perform the innovative activity. Among the professional characteristics of a personality of a modern pedagogue, the author defined the following innovative components: “innovative thinking”, “innovative behavior”, “innovative culture”; the results of the theoretical research on these concepts were demonstrated, and the need in their development among the students of the higher pedagogical educational establishment as well as the pedagogues-practitioners was specified.
