Abstract

Modern society is characterized by the quality of education, in the spirit of responsible attitude to environmental conditions, to their own health, the health of others, as to the highest social values. An essential component of the structure of personality, which focuses its experience gained in the course of human education, professional activities, and through interaction with the social environment is environmental competence. It specifies, in the plane of activity, primarily future specialist’s practical scills, aimed at protecting the environment, own and collective security, respect for the rules of law, environmental ethics etc. This requires the achievement of a new quality of the final result for the education sector - the formation of ecological competence of vocational school graduates. The author proposes to form student’s ecological competence at vocational schools using innovative technologies.
