Abstract
The paper aims to investigate substance of such concepts as “information”, “informational competence” as well as timeliness of development of skills of work with information for students from country schools. As possible educational solution there is proposed introduction of optional course for students focused on development of students skills of work with information by means of distant learning under supervision of teacher country basis school. In the paper there are defined methods of learning the use of which is aimed to increase the effectiveness of students work with information.
