Abstract
All components of intellectual abilities (convergent ability, divergent skills, training, and cognitive style) exist, operate and develop in mutual respect. The analysis of study models MO and ML Cold Smulson built taking into account the laws of intellectual development, reveals the following elements of training, development-oriented intellectual abilities, increase knowledge of students (including new topics, creating mizhpredemetnyh ties, familiarity students in applied areas of scientific knowledge, the active use of additional literature, etc.); deepen students' knowledge through the use of the learning process more complex and diverse material, more complex tasks; the development of educational skills and general intellectual skills (heuristic methods for solving problems, how logical or creative thinking, etc.); benefit research and education project focused on the development of intellectual independence and creative capabilities of students.
