Abstract
The dissertation deals with the history of woman professional education development in Ukraine in the second half of the 19th – at the beginning of the 20th century; the extent to which this theme has been so far investigated in education theory is characterized in this research; the peculiarities of the functioning of the networks of woman professional education institutions preparing specialists at all kinds of qualification levels and different fields have been analyzed; the woman professional education development tendencies in the foreign context and the peculiarities of the content and organization forms of woman professional education in Ukraine have been revealed; general approaches to the classification of women professional education institutions have been grounded; a classification of institutions of agricultural and needle-work types has been suggested; some peculiarities of legislative security of women professional education and practice have been revealed. The main directions of the use of positive ideas of woman professional education institution functioning under the new conditions of Ukraine’s socio-economic development.
