Abstract
The aim of this report is to prove methodological requirements of the competence approach to the professional training of the would-be specialists that substantially change the goals, contents, forms, methods and results. It describes the main qualities of professional competence: ability to be above all subjects and interact with them; versatility; multifunctionality; complexity; multidimensionality; autonomousness.
