Abstract
The article represents the results of a study of psychological features of myth origin sociocultural discourses in contemporary society. Expanding the boundaries of understanding the psychological characteristics of the generation and transmission of myth in culture. Emphasized general properties of myth origin and specific aspects of this process in various discourses. Analyzed applied aspects of myth origin in institutional and person-oriented discourse. It is shown that the discourses of myth origin (construction practices of (neo) mythological narratives) actualize mythological components of modern human consciousness and, based on them, become productive environment for "mythologizing" of consciousness ("grafting" of certain social and ideological constructs), and for production of personal texts. Unleash the potential of student-centered discourses of myth origin environment as implementation of discursive practices personality self-designing.
