Abstract

The article proves that the personality and military specialist are in unity. They have direct influence at one another, and directly mutually conditioned. It analyzes professional development of the military specialist’s personality, describes the main factors of professional development and focuses on the leading qualities, traits and manifestations of the military specialist’s personality. It describes the main methodological approaches to the proof of the professional development of the military specialist’s personality. The priority is given to the actor-activity approach which takes into account many other approaches and methodological principles . It presents the main phases of the specialist’s personality professional development and briefly describes its contents. It defines the concept professional development as to the military specialist’s personality.
