Abstract

The article substantiates the role of the leader as a key figure in the creation of successful cultural and educational environment of educational institution. The purpose and value of organizational culture as basis of cultural environment is disclosed; characteristics of successful cultural and educational environment, and the dependence of its creation from the level of the organizational culture of the institution and the own level of organizational culture of the head are submitted here. The role of the Association of Ukrainian school principals in the development of the organizational culture of managers and in ensuring the partnership between the state and the school is also disclosed. The author focuses on the management of organizational culture and successful cultural and educational environment which is directed to the development of metacompetence of the participants of the educational process and the public, and not a simple administration.
