Abstract

Based on empirical research conducted during September – December 2012, this article explores the problems of introducing Citizenship Education in Secondary Schools of Ukraine. The author analyses experts’ opinions on the importance and major challenges during the implementation, model of Citizenship Education, strengths and weaknesses of international projects on Citizenship Education that have been implemented in Ukraine.
