Abstract
The essence of the concept of creative cognitive activity and the main directions of its formation during the studying of students in the higher educational establishment are considered in the article. The main objectives and principles to be followed during the realization of this systematic purposeful work are defined. The analysis shows that the creation of the necessary pedagogical conditions is the determining factor of the effective process of formation of cognitive activity of young students. At the end of the work the respective conclusions are made.
