Abstract
The article presents the analysis of the organization of self-education of teachers in secondary schools. The essence of the term of self-education of teacher, its relevance, importance and characteristics are given. The main purpose of the organization of system process which is under consideration is to create the necessary conditions for effective personal development of teachers, to get the necessary modern subject, methodological, psychological, educational, cultural knowledge and skills, which are updated throughout the teaching activities. The particular importance of a person-centered approach, of effective scientific and methodological support and creation of positive developing self-educational environment in secondary school is outlined. At the end of article the respective conclusions are made.
