Abstract
The article deals with the results of the empirical research of features of development motivational, cognitive, operational and personal components of heads of vocational schools’ psychological readiness to creating a positive image. The essence of the concepts of «image» and «image of the head of vocational schools» are defined. The content of components of psychological readiness of leaders of vocational schools to creating a positive image, and their research methods are shown. The presented technique to study levels of psychological readiness of the head of vocational schools to creating a positive image. The basic trends of psychological readiness of psychological readiness of the heads of vocational schools to creating a positive image are revealed. Insufficient level of development of all components as well as a general indicator of readiness is shown. The results of the study of organizational and professional and gender-age factors of its development are shown. The advisability of development of psychological readiness of heads of vocational schools to create a positive image in terms of postgraduate education is outlined.
