Abstract

The workbook contains explanations and tasks for the main stages of research, helps to form basic knowledge of the scientific method, get acquainted with the profession of scientist, develop skills in working with scientific problems, informational resources, scientific texts. Practical, creative works for working off of scientific concepts, formation of research abilities, gaining experience and formation of interest and motivation for independent research are offered. The purpose of the workbook is to assist the teacher in organizing elective classes or a special course on the basics of scientific research, to help the student in mastering research competence. It is intended for use in specialized educational institutions, including scientific lyceums and boarding schools, general secondary education institutions, based on which there are research associations of students, out-of-school educational institutions that provide scientific education, the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine National Center, and institutions under its coordination. For students, teachers, leaders of scientific clubs, methodologists, students of pedagogical institutions of higher education, as well as for all those who are interested in scientific education of young people.
