Abstract

This article describes the rapid process of technological development of modern society and the importance for educational workers (educators, teachers, teachers) of understanding and use of all the latest opportunities in the educational process. Modern youth are representatives of a generation that has grown along with “the latest technology”. In particular, computer games at the present stage have become not just children’s fun, today it is a separate culture, which has not only great entertaining, but also significant creative and educational potentials. The gamification of the educational process should not be ignored, because computer games can be useful both in the search and determination of giftedness, and for its development. There is a wide range of possibilities for using computer games among various age categories of students, including for the study of individual subjects, topics or for laboratory work. The game is a learning technique and an effective tool for managing learning activities that activates students’ mental activity and helps make the learning process fun and engaging for children of all ages. It has been noted that computer business games are becoming more and more popular as it is an up-to-date form of learning that is distinguished by its clarity and dynamism. Interactive computer games and projects play an important role in identifying, supporting and developing giftedness by creating a creative, communicative environment for the intellectually gifted students. Thanks to the computer game, children may be interested in special and fiction literature, which will help to create and form a more complete picture of historical events for students.
