Abstract

In the abstracts of the report made at NTUU "KPI" (Kyiv) by Volodymyr Bystrevsky on May 14, 2009 in section 2 "Psychological problems of creative personality in the modern world" in the program of the X International Scientific and Practical Conference "Creativity as a useful welfare implementation through truth in beauty ”, playback theatre is briefly described from social, historical and technological points of view. Emphasis is placed on its socio-creative function and important role in the formation and development of personality, in contrast to the psychotherapeutic expectations of the audience. The preconditions and history of the playback theatre, as well as the state of its development in Kyiv in 2009 are briefly indicated. The ritual-technology of the playback-theatrical action is described in detail, in particular, the roles of the spectator (teller), such as the creator, co-producer and carrier (origin) of stories are outlined.
