Abstract

The article is devoted to the substantiation of the relevance of the problem of evaluation of school textbooks of geography. It substantiates the importance of the psychological aspect when evaluating textbooks. The main task of evaluation is defined: the definition of the impact of the geography textbook on the development of the intellectual, emotional sphere of the student's personality on the development of abilities, consciousness.
