Abstract

The article illustrates the organization and the results of the empirical study of attitude to health of people with different levels of inclination to poverty. It is detected that attitude to health of poverty bearers as a way of life has a risky character which is caused by such features of the attitude as weak emotional and volitional self-regulation, risk motivation for health, learned helplessness towards health preservation, low level of satisfaction of needs for acceptance of a group and for power, and also dissatisfaction with personal achievements, communication and social-psychological support.
