Abstract
The scientific work of the prominent polish scientist, ordinary professor, doctor habilitated S.M. Kwiatkowski, which undoubtedly belongs to the scientific elite of the Republic of Poland has been analysed. Particular attention is paid to his scientific work on labour pedagogy as a sub-discipline of pedagogical science. It is emphasized on the predictability of continuous professional education, the theory of professional training, standardization of professional qualifications, and different models of professional counselling, new mechanisms of the relationship between employers and professional education institutions, the constant cooperation between vocational schools and labour institution, as well as the economic and didactic value of the dual system.
