Abstract

The article presents an analysis of international practice on models of state and public assistance to different target groups and categories of the population who find themselves in a difficult life situation. With the pedagogical bias of different levels of organization and ensuring their functioning stand out paternalistic model of social work, corporatist, etatist model. Simultaneous implementation of different models creates a situation of polyconceptuality of modern social-pedagogical activity and social work, mostly oriented to foreign experience, which is transferred to the Ukrainian reality through various social projects.Generalization and analysis of the situation regarding the conceptual guidelines for the development of socio-pedagogical and social work in Ukraine leads to the conclusion that innovative ideas brought from foreign experience are conceptualized on several levels: in state social policy, scientific theory and social practice.
