Abstract

Lack of IT professionals in the country, outdated ICT curriculum, which, in the opinion of UK educators were more focused on the ability to use technology rather than the development of creativity using the software and digital content, led in September 2014 to replace the subject "ICT" in the National curriculum to the subject "Computing" which is more focused on the study of computer technology, programming.
