Abstract
The concept touches upon the main theses of bilingual education according to pedagogical, linguistic, psychological theory and practice. This paper focuses on the reasoning of the implementation relevance of bilingual deaf education in Ukraine as the method of enhance learning and competitiveness persons with hearing impairments against the background of modern social and economic relations. The purpose and the major tasks of bilingual (Ukrainian sign-verbal or verbal-sign) deaf education in Ukraine were determined. The prerequisites of implementing bilingual education in the modern system of special education for persons with hearing impairment were singled out. The realization mechanism of linguistic component in content of deaf special education based on the sign language as native, second and foreign language. The publication is addressed to researchers and science teachers.
